Hi seester. I just saw this, hope you still want it. Here's the reci pe and also sending the raisin spice mayo cake recipe --always my favorite.

Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake--Or Miracle Whip? Mom usedMiracle Whip.

1 cup Water

1 Cup Miracle Whip

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup sugar2 cups flour

½ Cup Hershey’s Cocoa

½ tsp salt

2 tsp baking soda

Mix all ingredients in order given—if you’re using yourChicken Aid, I always put liquid ingredients in first and give em awhirl then add dry.

Pour into a greased and lightly floured 9 x 13 inch pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

Raisin Spice Mayo Cake

1 Cup Mayo (Mom used Miracle Whip)

1 Cup raisin water*

2 tsp soda

½ tsp salt

2 Cups Flour

1 Cup Sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon

½ tsp ground nutmeg

½ tsp ground ginger

½ tsp ground cloves

Grated Orange Rind

1 Cup raisins

Optional--1 cup walnuts

*Boil 1 cup raisins in 1 ¼ Cup water

Mix all ingredients adding raisins last, and again, ifyou’re using the chicken aid, add liquid or wet items first, mix a minute, thenadd dry. Add grated orange rind, optional nuts and raisins last and mix them in by hand after turning off the beaterblade if you want them rather course.

Pour into 9 x 13 greased and lightly floured pan. Bake 30 to35 minutes at 350 degrees. Mom made some sort of cream cheese frosting I think, kind of like what’s on carrot cake.

Do you still have this? You sent it to me, and now I can't find it anywhere. Might make one this week. (But only if you send me the recipe.)
